Arrrr... A Pirate's Wife She Be!

That's right folks, I am going to a pirate wedding. Color Me Excited! I have always wanted to be a pirate. Well this is the next best thing!

Just one problem, now I have to come up with a costume?!? Luckily my lovely friends have links on their wedding website for some pirate themed clothes online. I decided to go with a full costume because it will be cheaper and I can always use it for their baby showers. lol. Just kidding.

Seriously, I want to look the part when my friends get hitched but I can't decide between these three costumes. Help! What do ya'll think? Emmy? Dave? It's your wedding so you had better at least chime in!

Royal Lady Pirate
36.99 not including the boots or the sword.

Ruby the Pirate Beauty
36.99 not including boots and sword.

Just another Female Pirate
48.99 not including sword.

I think I can get a plastic sword from the good will or salvation army so no worries there. If nothing else I am sure that walmart will have something. As for the boots, I don't know if I am going to buy some or just wear my cool heals that would almost match. We shall see, but I am definitely thinking along the lines of an eye patch. Just because I may never get another chance to wear one.

Happy Training,
Love Jenn

Edited to say: I just noticed that at the bottom of the costume page it says that not dressing up will get me flogged?!?! I don't know exactly what that is but it sounds like fun! So if we can't decide on a costume I'll wear something to be flogged in!

Flogging = whipping. Make sure you dress up! :)

Oh Laura that just makes me not want to dress up more.

Update: Mary and I are making me a costume. Should be interesting as I have not ever sewn anything more complicated than a quilt, and even that I didn't do very well.
